Curriculum

Life Christian Academy provides a complete educational program that is in accordance with age-appropriate instructional practices. Each class will have developmentally appropriate activities that are customized for their instructional level. The best practices employed by the teachers facilitate the students’ growth and development in all areas. The students are instructed in the language/literacy, math, science, creative, physical, and social/emotional skill areas, all with a Biblical foundation. Assessment procedures used to measure progress toward learning goals include: anecdotal notes, work samples, and other curriculum assessment tools.

The Abeka curriculum will be taught in classes from 18 months old through Pre-Kindergarten. This outstanding program contains textbooks that are built on a foundation of academic excellence and Christian character training. The treasury of textbooks and teaching materials reflect the very best in traditional education, comprehensive curriculum, and eternal truths.

Children ages 6 weeks up to 18 months months of age will be taught using best practices as outlined by the National Association for the Education of Young Children which defines “high quality” in the field of early education. The children will be nurtured and stimulated in such a way that provides the opportunity for optimal growth in all areas of development.
